KTM to unveil their track only RC890

Submitted by Jo on

The last KTM superbike, the RC8, was discontinued in 2016 because KTM felt sportbikes with more than 200 horsepower didn't belong on the street.
Until now a RC890 has been spotted, but it is only intended for the racetrack.
Info is limited, but this track bike is powered by an 890cc two-cylinder with Moto2 performance, limited production to 100 units worldwide.
Typical for this prototype, it has a trellis frame, and what we can see from the pictures is that the fuel tank is relocated to the rear of the bike.
